Can you believe Christmas Eve is a week away? For some reason I got a late start on my holiday shopping and still need to get some done. I'll be finishing up any online orders soon (at least on the sites that say guaranteed delivery by Christmas). I guess I'll have to venture out into the mall-shopping holiday chaos to get any last minute gifts I need - but what are the holidays without an mob of angry slow-walking shoppers, right? Since Black Friday is right around the corner, I wanted to get at least one holiday gift guide out there before the big crazy shopping day (Cyber Monday is where it's at for me - but that's a whole different topic!). The below items I've selected are great holiday gifts for any woman in your life, whether it be your girlfriend, sister, mother, or friend. They're all moderately priced, but more likely for someone special that you'd spend a little extra on. Hopefully this helps kick-start your holiday shopping, or at least sparks some ideas!

Nordstrom Clearance Sale Picks

You know it's going to be a good day when you find out Nordstrom is having a clearance sale of up to 40% off. I noticed this sale a few days ago and have been browsing and browsing until I've finally narrowed it down to several items I'm considering purchasing. Of course I'll have to limit myself to only a few of the below items, but I wanted to share them all with you to give you an idea of what's on sale. I'm thinking maybe I'll just choose one pair of boots, one piece of jewelry, and one piece of clothing - that's reasonable right? Scroll on through to see the items I chose!

Summer Trend: Exotically Tropical

Today I want to share a summer trend with you that I've literally been seeing everywhere - on fashion bloggers, in magazines, in the stores I shop at - and I'm not talking about the not so cute typical Hawaiian floral button down that your Uncle wears (sorry Tommy Bahama). I'm talking real exotic tropical prints and the current pineapple phenomenon. Although this trend is completely seasonal (I doubt you'd rock your pineapple romper in the winter), it's a really cool trend because it's so unique and bold. It literally screams summer and incorporates all these bright colors you may not typically get to wear during any other season. I think I'm definitely going to grab a pair of tropical printed shorts and maybe some bright colored earrings. Look below for a slideshow of more styles and links to everything!

Friday Five: Spring Outerwear Trends

TGIF Everyone! During this time of transitional weather, a Spring jacket is a must-have. Today's Friday Five consists of Spring outerwear styles that are currently trending.

1. Denim jackets may have disappeared for a little, but they are back now! Stick with a classic denim wash and pair it over a floral dress for a causal girly look.
2. Moto jackets have been around for quite some time now, but for Spring, look for pastel colors or white for a light edgy vibe.
3. Floral anything is in for this season. Pair your floral blazer with a plain T-shirt to keep your look casual, yet trendy.
4. Kimonos have been really trending this season. I love the way the lace and fringe create a bohemian look.
5. Another style that has made a comeback is the bomber jacket. Look for ones with a floral print or other kinds of patterns to make a bold statement.
