Last Minute Stocking Stuffers and Add-On Gifts

It's almost Christmas! While everyone is finishing up shopping for last minute holiday gifts, I figured I throw a few more ideas out there to use as add-on items. Sometimes you may need a last minute gift for a friend, or just feel like you need to add a little something extra to the main gift you're giving. Although these are mainly gifts "for her", you can certainly use the same types of items "for him" as well (most likely minus the makeup and nail polish). Hope this helps you finish up any shopping you may have left to do!

1. Faux Fur Infinity Scarf - A trendy accessory that she'll definitely use. I got one last year and wear it at least two times a week! If you don't think she's into faux fur, go for a solid color infinity scarf.

2. Monogram Mug - I actually have this exact mug - it's so cute and makes the perfect gift, especially if she's a coffee or tea drinker. This one in particular I ordered from Macys, but I've been seeing personalized mugs everywhere, like at Kohl's and Target.

3. Tech Gloves - I actually have yet to own a pair of tech gloves, but I could really use them! And I think every person could use a pair. They're pretty much available everywhere.

4. Statement Necklace - Give me any kind of statement necklace and I'll be happy. Forget fine jewelry, it's all about the statement pieces these days.

5. Makeup Palette - Go into any Ulta or Sephora and you'll be able to browse through tons of good quality makeup sets that are perfect for gift giving. It would be helpful to know what specific makeup brands she likes, but if you're unsure ask an associate for bestsellers or stick to brands like Benefit, Too Faced, Tarte, Smashbox, Stila, Urban Decay, anything like that!

6. Smart Phone Case - If you know what kind of phone they have, then you know what kind of case to get! Stick to quality name brands they're familiar with like Kate Spade, Casemate, Marc Jacobs, or Tory Burch.

7. Nail Polish Set - Another set perfect for beauty lovers. Even if you don't get a particular set, go to any CVS or local drugstore and pick out some of Essie's new shades for the winter season. To make your own set, just simply pick a solid shade and then a glitter shade - you'll know what I mean when you see it!

8. Holiday Body Set - A very seasonally appropriate add-on gift. If you're not sure what scents they like, stick to something like vanilla. You can find these at places like Ulta, Sephora, Bath and Body Works, or department stores like Macys and Nordstrom.

Current Fall Accessory Craves

I feel like all I've been browsing for lately are scarves, shoes, and all other kinds of accessories. It's probably because a big part of the fall season (to me at least) is combining some of the clothing you already have and simply adding an accessory. For example, you can wear the same sweater twice, just switch up the scarves and shoes and you have two different looks. Other kinds of accessories like stud earrings or a phone case are pieces you can wear everyday and get so much use out of. I think I've had the same iPhone case for close to six months now (I need an update - and I'm loving the one below!). And let's be real, if you have a growing lipstick collection like I do, you really can never have too many. So go ahead, go a little accessory crazy every once in a while - it's worth it!

Friday Five: Accessory Craves

Friday Five: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Happy Friday and Merry Christmas in July Everyone! Yup, Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale has finally given me a reason to celebrate this whole "Christmas in July" business. It's literally Nordstrom's best sale of the year with limited quantities (that are going fast!), so definitely check it out before August 4th when the prices are set to go back up. This is your chance to get those few designer items that you've wanted for a while now, but just couldn't justify spending the full amount on. I also love this sale because they even include some cosmetic items for a really great deal. Seriously, when are MAC and Nars cosmetics ever on sale? (Here!) Summer Arm Candy: Bracelets & Bangles

Although my style tends to be more on the simple side in the Summer, I still like to throw on a bracelet here and there to add a little extra glam to my casual outfits. Whether you like stacking multiple bracelets together, or just wearing one standout piece, the below bracelets are perfect for either preference. I typically either wear one by itself, or stack one or two on top of my watch. Are you noticing a color trend this summer already? I'm loving the open cuff links and cool-toned colors!

Nordstrom Picks

This post on this beautiful Tuesday is dedicated to the sacred land of Nordstrom. I absolutely love Nordstrom because they have all of my favorite brands, always free shipping, and they just carry some really great merchandise. If you've never ventured out to Nordstrom, or checked out the online shop, you're missing out! Below I've included some of the things I've had my eye on from there. Tell Me About It, Stud

If you ever see me out, you will most likely find me wearing stud earrings. I have currently been wearing my pair of pearl earrings, but have been loving some of the colors and trends that I've been seeing this season. Some fun trends to keep an eye out for are floral studs, mainly daisies, and the color turquoise (I've included a few below!). When in doubt, you can never go wrong with any solid gold toned stud - like how cute are those arrows? I'm also really loving the Sunny Daisy stud earrings (third row, first one in) and the Tai Stone studs in mint (third row, fourth one in).
